EUCHRE TOURNAMENT RULES:

  • Everyone plays 10 games.
  • Game start: First Jack starts new game deal. You can shuffle & deal, but do not flip over the top card until time is caled to start. Play timer starts whether you are at your table or not.
  • Game end: Earlier of the first team in tournament reaching 10 points or 15 minutes. When game end is announced, finish hand (if already in play) and set cards down.
  • Breaks:
    • 3 minutes between games.
    • 15 minutes after game 5.
    • If you need to leave your seat at any time during play, raise your hand and we wil attempt to get someone to sit in for you
  • Game play:
    • Play as an individual.
    • Losers wil move to the next table and not play with the same person.
    • Winners stay at table, one switches seats to not play with same person.
    • Stick the Dealer – dealer must call trump if all players pass in both bidding rounds.
    • Play your hand - no farmers hands, ace no face, partners best, etc.
  • Scoring:
    • Record score and have scorecard initialed by someone at table for that game.
    • Turn your scorecards in at the end of game 10.
    • Prizes wil be awarded once al scores have been recorded.

Open Event: This event is open to Chapter members, National H.O.G. members and other guests as desired.
