Let's Head north for some fall colors. This year we are going to Mio Michigan. Our leisurely ride along back country roads will take us up the east side of the state to Mio where we'll be staying for the night. We'll hit lunch along the way and a scenic overlook too!
Here we go!
Saturday Oct. 18th
7:15am at Tailgators Gas Station (corner of Lansing Rd & Creyts) for the pre-ride brief.
7:30am KSU
Please contact the Mio Motel at (989) 826-3248 to make your reservation. They are holding rooms with two queen beds for us under "HOG 4668". The rooms are normally $115 per night but they are discounting them for us down to $95 per night if you pay in cash. If you use a card there is a $5 processing fee added in.
The Mio Motel has added a pavilion this year that has 3 picnic tables in it. That could be great for playing cards after dinner. Or we can sit around the fire pit and tell stories, all while sipping a cool refreshing beverage! They supply the firewood too!
Across the street the restaurant is now open and is rumored to be pretty good. They also have cool refreshing beverages to go too!
We'll be stopping at Gildners H-D on the way up too! Let's ride!
Your road captains for this ride are:
Terry "Cheezer" Grost and TBD
